My local ski shop is listed as a retailer. I have tomorrow off (new tires for the Jeep! WOOHOO!) so maybe I'll swing by and ask them. I need to stop in for my BS session; I'm overdue.

They were swamped at the shop today; I was just able to get in a few words about conditions at Mt. Snow. I'll try and stop by when it's less busy. Glad to see the shop was moving some gear though!

Well, they don't add another dimension, just another degree of freedom in the same plane as the twisting out at the toe.

A laterally loaded leg will, at some point, trip the toe release. It's just a question of if the minimum force to release at the toe is less than the min to release at the heel. It wouldn't be that hard to implement a system that does what theirs does, and the fact that none of the major players have made one sorta says to me that it isn't worth it.
