That site has proven to be very controversial around here. The debate seems to center around their formula, which has some subjective criteria built into it - but most people seem to like the underlying premise.

I think Mt. Ellen boosts the most vertical drop in VT. There is no way to ski MT. Ellen top to bottom without using two lifts.Anywhere to get a ranking of the largest vertical elevations skiable off a single lift ride?
