I've got em...like that I can snap out in the trees then back in...easier than getting in and out of straps. Wouldn't have paid $$ for them, but its a great pole. I've got the older set up with the yellow tab on a pair of their WC poles....I like the safety feature of the new S grip better...in case I forget to snap them out in the trees...they will release...field tested.

i dont have the leki gloves, just the strap that goes on your glove...instead of sliding your gloves in and out of your straps all day you just click in and out of the poles.

I'd like to see a bar integrated with a ski shop...then I could fit boots and bartend at the same time...just keep serving until the boots feel better :-D

you might be on to something, it's worked for laundrymats in some locations. Forget what the one in Burlington is called, Sip and Spin I think

we used to talk about doing the laundrymat/bar in portland...Suds also tossed around the idea of a country western bar in portland/westbrook...could have made a killing...but country music makes my ears bleed

+1. I didn't notice that the gloves were part of the system. If the gloves get soaked for some reason, are you screwed?

You can put the straps on any pair of gloves. I think I might try using the straps with my Leki gloves anyway. It just has a secure feel with it.

I've never cared too much about poles. I wanted new gloves anyway and can always use poles. A friend told me where I could get a good deal so I figured why not?
