On the Mount Snow passholders site this morning. The replacement part will be arriving today. *IF* the installation goes as planned and all the proper parts are present, the Bluebird should be spinning for 1st chair on Saturday AM! :)

From the Mount Snow passholders site about 4PM this afternoon - the replacement drive shaft has been installed and they're working on reassembling the rest of the gear box. *IF* no problems arise during the rest of the repair effort this evening, the Bluebird will be spinning again tomorrow morning! :)

Yup - on the Mount Snow passholders site today it was said that there's a 5yr warrantee on the Bluebird (it turned 2 in December) and they showed a picture of the 3" diameter metal rod that when from the main drive motor into the gear reduction box that snapped clean off pretty much where the rod met the gear ring/wheel  )

The guitar case sized, 1,000lb replacement should be on site after being flown in from Europe today either tonight or early tomorrow!!

Hi there, do you have any access to those photos? If so please post them.
