Lift Ticket Prices 2013-14

Looks like Vail is going to weigh in this year with the heavyweight ticket price of $119 during regular season. Makes Stowe's $98 price less $5 reloadable card look cheap.

Breck is 110, Deer Valley 108, all season. Killington weekend also looks bargain priced at $85 via an e-ticket.

Pico at 67 weekend via the eStore. or $60 at Wachusett. What should I do? Choices!

Or, I could walkup ski at Nashoba for $50, or for a buck less, ski at Magic. Hmmm.

Mount Snow at $89 or Saddleback for $49. Let's see, how could I spent $40?

Middlebury magic carpet is $0 (free for those who can't count) or , or, or, where???

I know, I know, the comparisons aren't equal.

I just heard a commercial for Wa Wa, they are implying its better value to ski there than to drive north given the current gas prices.

Depends where you are in the state in my opinion. I would probably go for a season pass for Wa if I lived in the Leominster/Fitchburg area out of convenience. It's of course a great deal if you can ski during the daytime midweek as there's no lines there, and at that point, I'd just tolerate the weekend lines. However, it's a 86 mile RT drive for me, vs 46 miles RT to get to the ski bus stop. At that point, it's just worth paying an extra $20 to hop on the bus, save 40 miles in mileage, and have a better skiing experience somewhere up north even though I have to suffer a little waking up at 4 am to ensure I'm there for a 6 am pickup.

they all have affinity programs now, there's probably one for Mt. Snow, I just ran out of interest looking them up.

Got rid of it as of last year I believe, ask TB. (Sunnyside Triple only) I think you can do it for like $5 now.

Not a big Loon fan but I might get this for early and late season.The frequent skier card is $100 for Loon SR and the Loaf.It comes with a free anytime ticket to all these areas and you get $25 off weekday and $15 weekend.Last Friday my friend went to Loon and skied for $4 after the discount.With regular season ticket price of $81thrown in,the card is paid for after 2 days skiing for $104.

Geez! Even the $25 lift tickets are gone for Jay Peak! There are still some good deal for Wednesdays at other resorts! Ragged has a $29 use any time good till 12/25 that I am considering!

117 walk up rate at JHole this season. And we were never a place for deals, but RFID goes in this year so green pass or a six pack wont get you anything but a lighter wallet this year.

Yikes... $119 at Vail this year? Ouch. And they don't participate in the Real Deal program with other ski areas either (it's a reciprocal skiing program for ski resort employees... even Aspen participates. But none of the Vail resorts...).

We're at $47 for an all-day Adult ticket at Ski Cooper (about a half hour from Vail). No increase for weekends/holidays... just the same $47. We've got a 4 day pass on sale for $99 (<$25 per day). But then, we have a lot less overhead (no snowmaking, no inhouse lodging operation, no debt service, etc.) than the "big guys".
