So I hear Stratton now has the "longest" magic carpet.

hmm, does that mean if you fall, it's slam, bang into the canopy, down onto the carpet for a nice draggin' up to the top? Gives "pile ups" new meaning; at least with tbars and ropes you could get out of the way.

I'm being a little facetious here. I know when my kids were little, the carpet made things a lot less frustrating, but geez, that thing seems awfully long for newbies. Lotta opportunities to fall, no opportunity to bail.

I'm not quite sure I understand the point of having a covered magic carpet. Seems like a waste to me. When I go skiing I want to be outside, not stuck in a 500+ foot long tunnel...

Would you still go skiing if the only trail was the one with the magic carpet?

Yup for this carpet between having Mineral Basin infront of you at one side of the carpet and the peruvian cirque at the other, that's one serious amoutn of terrain available!
