Very true... I spoke German growing up in my house. But I always did horrible in German class in school, even though I could actually speak the language, unlike everyone else in the class.

I knew how to speak it.... just not how to explain how to speak it :)

Our neighbors are German (only been in US about 5 years), their 2 little kids speak fluent German. Poor kids spend Saturdays in German school to learn how to write, grammar, etc...consider yourself lucky haha.

there you have it folks! skiing made easy.

If you are just trying to be a tool, that's cool (if that's your thing), but clearly, being good at an activity doesn't necessarily make one a good teacher of said activity. If you are good at both, then good for you! You earn a gold star for the day.
