Had a blast at Loon yesterday, despite the bit of fresh snow in the night, was nicely groomed and never to cut up.
Also, never really found to many patches of bulletproof ice...as the snow stayed a nice soft texture all day, which leads me to the initial question......
If anyone was there, around, etc, what was that type of snow called? Am somewhat new to ski sports in the last few years and am trying to get a better working knowledge of what diff. snow names/types are (as Packed Powder usually isn't very helpful).
Replies appreciated, see you on the mountain.
