Date(s) Skied: Tuesday December 18, 2007 (9:30am – 3:00 pm)

Resort or Ski Area: Mad River Glen, VT

Weather: Partly Sunny w/ occasional flurries high temp 20F calm winds

Conditions: Creamy Delicious!! Packed Powder, Wind-packed Powder, Powder, etc..

Trip Report: WOW! What a great day up on Stark Mountain. The incredible snow conditions and coverage combined with the fact that it was a Tuesday in mid December made for one sweet day. The snow was absolutely heavenly some of the finest I’ve seen in years and to think it’s not even winter yet!! Although I not sure how many people where on the hill today I was able to ski right on the single chair all day long and always find a seat in front of the fireplace in the base box. Basically it was what a day of skiing should be: great turns, great atmosphere and great people! Although physically tired my mind/soul has been completely refreshed today! Thanks MRG!

BTW, the lift ticket today was $35.00 and the lunch special for $10.00 was a hot open faced roast beef sandwich with fries and a draft beer of your choice.

Here's some pics:
