Had to get my car aligned and an inspection sticker in the morning so I didn't get started driving until 10am. Met up with Gpetrics at around 1pm in Montpelier so we didn't start hiking until around 2pm. First run down Paradise the light was pretty good, but it went quick and by the time we got halway down Chute on our second lap it was pretty freakin' dark. The 3 cliffs area on liftline was quite the interesting ski in almost complete darkness. Here are some pics.

Gpetrics will have some better pics later this week since he was shooting with a DSLR.

How did the new Radiums do? Tease me please with lots of specifics that will make me groan since I can't spend any more gear money until summer 09.

I skied my last 2,000 ft. of vert in walk mode since one boot won't click into ski mode. At first it took me about 5 minutes until it would go into ski mode, now it straight up won't work. Besides that they are WAY stiffer than megarides, and tour better.

Bummer on the ski vs tour mode. But Niiiiice on the stiffer and tour better than the megarides. I have read similar reviews. I have also heard they have a little more toe room or a wider forefoot area. Essentially, it sounds like my dream boot. Hopefully you get that tour/ski switch fixed up! I hear it is only one setting instead of two which is super cool.
