1990 Vermont Life article on Mad River Glen...the last years of Betsy Pratt's ownership. And not much has changed...note her interest in "preserving the mountain." The pics are from the 1989-1990 season...which was my first season skiing:

That last pic makes the Paradise waterfall seem a lot more gnarley than it is.

Amazing that it looks pretty much the same as today.

The differences I see are rear entry boots, straight skis, and ugly ski outfit colors...check that, you still see those today when you go to MRG.

It used to be.... but then people started cutting cheater lines to the side of it. I remember my first time down it in 1992... whew!!
