Date(s) Skied: Saturday March 29, 2008
Ski Area: Magic Mountain - Londonderry, VT
Conditions: 6"- 10" of day old powder with a 1"-2" dusting of fresh new snow on top. All was over a firm and deep base.
Trip Report:
Another exceptional day at Magic, my second of the year! The fresh new snow in the last two days (a solid 8"-12" ) was enough to make all the terrain 100% available and extremely enjoyable. Skied from first chair at 9am to about 4:30pm with a break for lunch and tallied around 25,000 feet of descent. Even though the bulk of the new snow had come on Friday, there was still a plethora of fresh tracks to be made both on and off the trails Saturday.
It was a great day on an amazing mountain.....
