Resort or Ski Area: Magic

Conditions: POW, Even more POW than yesterday.

Trip Report:
Today I finally got to see the true potential of my sumos today. They absolutely rock in the deep, they floated very nicely underfoot and kept me from drowning in the fluff.. Started off skiing redline at 8:20 this am, just to set the pace for the day. It was knee to thigh deep in places, no exaggeration! Didn't have to speed check at all, just ran full bore top to bottom, snow was so deep, it kept you in check automatically.

Skiied waaay too many runs to even think about keeping track of, I lost count at 16 though, it had to be somewhere in the 16-21 range though. My legs are killing me, but that's ok, its a GREAT pain. For those that don't know, I have sumos mounted for tele, so this deep stuff only got me closer to the goods, ensuring that I inhaled lots and lots of snow on just about every turn today. SICK is all I can describe it as, nothing else. I have never had this good of a day at Magic, or here on the east coast for that matter.

Please do me a favor though and don't drive up there tonight so that I can hog all the snow tomorrow! Seriously, today makes the rest of last week look like a joke!!!!!

PICS TO COME ONCE I EAT MY 3rd DINNER... I burned a LOT of calories today.. and if you know me, that means I've already consumed and burned some 8000 today already..here's a vid for now...

Pics are up, not a lot, spent too much time eating snow and floating to take more!!!

I had my first run at Magic yesterday, and it was REALLY MAGIC! Some incredible lines to found there. Making first tracks all the way until mid-afternoon.

DJSpookman what do they call that trail going straight left of the red chair? Best part was the sun came out around noon. Peaks were white, sky was blue, and the sun was beating down.

I'm assuming you're thinking the same one in the vid in my link above, no? If so, that's Witch.
