Geez! Are we so computer-dependent these days that we can't take a piece of paper and real scissors and make a snowflake of our own that we can stick on the wall in 2 minutes like my generation did when we were kids, without benefit of printer, and then we walked home from school 5 miles through a blizzard and made some more? I can remember how the fabrication of construction-paper chains took a quantum leap forward when staplers became widely available and we didn't have to join the ends of the strips with paste any more! Try getting a computer to make a paper chain for you!

(Just don't ask me to fill in a spreadsheet with a slide rule.)

Wimp. I had to walk uphill in a blizzard. Both ways.
And we didn't have glue, even. We wanted to decorate with a paper chain, we had to stand up all day holding the ends together. And paper wasn't so easy to come by- we had to tear pages out of our textbooks, and save the cuttings to put back in. Cramming for finals after Christmas was no laughing matter.
