So what will you be doing for Labor Day weekend?

I'll be hanging out with friends and barbecuing out in my backyard trying to forget that there are 35 weeks left of school. And looking forward to the ski season starting in ~3 months.

I was supposed to be going to a BBQ, biking, hiking, all the fun stuff. But, with the weather that they are forcasting, I guess I'll just be thinking skiing. :)

Going to a picnic tomorrow. The weather is gonna be crap though, so we'll be inside... :(

Of course I'll be thinking about skiing, but that pretty much goes without saying.

I just finished moving our company out of our Deer Park office and we now have all of our merchandise and a good resemblance of a working office in Bloomfield. We are starting on going into contract with our house here, while our house in Coventry will be framed starting on tuesday.

So I get two days of rest this weekend, and then back to work on monday.

For me there was one choice missing from that poll. I will be doing all of the above. The majority of the weekend will be spent packing boxes for our move the following weekend. BBQ with fam on Sunday. And of course my favorite part of every weekend, taking a solid 1/2 day to do absolutely nothing but sip my coffee and chill on the couch with the dogs.

I'm going to check out the Laborday Clearance Sale at Wachusett this weekend
for my son. I think he deserves better skis than than the pair of Rossi he've been
skiing for a couple of seasons which we picked up at a swap for $60.

Going to the 17th annual SUNY Albany reunion at my buddy's house in Albany. Even though the weather's gonna suck, we'll deal with it. We have had as many as 35 people staying at my old college roommate's house (big), and we have a blast. BBQ, kids, and usually a day at the Saratoga races. Lots of fun. Keeping the annual tradition is important to us all - we're still very close friends after almost 30 years......

Nice. I have about 10 HS friends that are all Albany alums. The Albany lax coach graduated from my HS. Albany is a blast. I had some good times visiting those characters. The wife and I both love the SPAC. Beautiful grounds and a great place to see a show. Have fun!

I voted working...although it's all around the house vs the office.

HOWEVER...I did get my daughter up to WA for the sale...new boots, bindings adjusted while I waited...BAM!

Pretty crappy weather, but lots to do regardless.

I'm going Hiking

I'll heading to the Whites on Monday. I have no young ones, just old ones now and don't have to take my vacations in the summer any more. So wife and I are heading for the Whites for a week of hiking. The hikes will just be day hikes to waterfalls but next summer I'll be up with the old (young) ones for the real overnight stuff.
