Hey All,
I'm back from a fun session at Blue mountain. On the drive up I rocked out to some old school hip hop on 98.9. I arrived at the lower lot around 12:30PM and it was 34 degrees under sunny skys. Atomic Jeff pulled in a few minutes later. I began my session on my Elan S12s with Switchback, Razors and Challenge. Then I switched to my Nordica Blowers as I was jealous of all the spray A-Jeff was creating and because there were alot of areas of spring snow. Jim was in the house rocking the red one-piece and Epicski Bruce was also in attendence. Bruce and I swapped skis one run..I was on his 160something length Stockli slalom skis and he was on the Blowers. His skis were so little but stiff.
I skied Razors edge the most..Lazy Mile was decent and Switchback was good for.. Paradise was really slow and Dreamweaver was a little chunky at the corner..today was mad Katie Perry..Hot and Cold..I was always really hot at the base and chilly at the peak with fairly strong winds. Winter isn't unleashing it's grip quite yet. After 3+ hours and 20 runs..we left at a few minutes to 4PM. Anyway you slice it or dice it, it was just another day in Paradise. It looks like the snow will set up tonight so the snow should be fast tomorrow morning but softening up by late morning..anybody skiing Blue tomorrow???
