many memorable powder runs from this year, but on 12/4 at K several runs on an untracked vagabond were complete bliss (only one other skier venturing over there for the first hour), and a balls deep powder run on lower royal flush which was probably the deepest pow run I had all year. come to think of it there were memorable runs almost each day I was on the hill this year. good times.

Best run of the year was a run in Casper Bowl at Jackson Hole. In the east, probably the four runs I had my half-day skiing at MRG on 2/10/08.

One was mid-February on Outer Limits. Fantastic conditions, bumps spaced just right, for about half the runs I was only stopping to catch my breath.

Another was Needle's lift line on March 29. Soft snow, and I always like the bump spacing on that run. I wish I had video of it, because it just felt right - smooth, good form, quiet upper body, etc. Love the feeling of just nailing a run.

I did a bunch of laps on Escapade/Flume that morning. Very nice. The memorable part was that I went over the handlebars where Flume narrows and sprained my left thumb. That was also the day where the Smithereens opened the Bear Mountain Mogul Challenge screaming "POWDR Sucks" over the PA.

Almost every day I had this winter had memorable runs... whether they were good or bad.

Mount Snow 11/12: Awesome conditions on Chute, especially for Veterans Day
Wachusett 11/23: Just remember looking at the bottom of Conifer and saying "Thats it?"
Mount Snow 11/24: Everything was memorably terrible
Wachusett 11/29: Hitting kickers with Marc, Austin, waloaf, and a couple others
Wachusett 12/20: After a few snowstorms, Vickery liftline was in awesome shape
Mount Snow 12/28 (?): Remember going into the Trials for the first time and being surprised how expansive it was
Mount Snow 1/21: Remember going down the sheet of ice known as Ripcord and then second guessing it AFTER the bailout, also a cold day
Wachusett 1/28 (?): I think that was the day when the snow was as dense as I've ever skied
Wachusett 2/14: Boilerplate with Austin
Berkshire East 2/23: Kinda disappointing after expecting epic powder
Wachusett 2/27: Two words: golf balls
Wachusett 2/29: 24 hours... VERY crowded, lights out, some light snow, sneaking around
Okemo 3/7: Amazing bumps and trees, 45 degrees, bright sun, 100% open with awesome coverage everywhere... dream spring day
Stowe 3/16: Scored first tracks down upper liftline and Goat woods were awesome
Mad River Glen 3/20: Lots of closed trails due to breakable crust... most boring day one could have at MRG
Sugarbush 3/21: First run on Middle Earth with Greg and Brian was probably best run of my life
Wachusett 3/28: Surprise snow that made conditions very nice
Wachusett 3/29: 15 degrees and perfect packed powder... in late March
Wachusett 4/6: Very cold pond skimming day
Mount Snow 4/19: Still skiing trees and natural runs, awesome bumps on Ripcord and Ego Alley
Mount Snow 4/27: Nice laid back final day... conditions weren't incredible but the fact Mt. Snow made it that far and was good enough to keep it going was awesome
Wachusett 5/26: Oh wait... that was just a dream last night (seriously... they had like 6" of snow and everyone was amazed it was like that in May)... I forgot my poles too

I had some really supreme runs in the 2007-08 season.
I will never forget the amazing powder day at Breck, Skiing off Peak 7.
Spaulding bowl and Enchanted Forrest at Copper.
Stowe offered some of the best skiing EVER for the beginning of December.
But Abasin, the unexpected powder day, was truly phenomenal.
Had a bunch of great ones this year..tough to remember particular ones. Some poaching at Okemo, forget what day. Around New Years at Magic was great. Hit a great day at Stowe in December. A-basin last week. Steamboat was great. Snowbasin was a trip too. It keeps going.
The last run of my season was with I [Hart], at Abasin. It wasn't the best snow conditions, but I knew it was my last of the season. Nothing beats embracing your last run with good company and a grin on your face!!!
