Hey All, I want to put together a bus trip from Long Island up to Gore or possibly Whiteface. I'm trying to generate some interest now as to fill up a bus. I haven't crunched any numbers yet, but we would need about 50 people to fill the bus. With gas prices around 4$ I think a bus trip makes sense, especially to folks like me that do not get on the hill all that often. The bus would ideally leave Suffolk County on a Friday afternoon and come back Sunday night. Are there any interested parties along the 495/87 route? I realize most folks lurking around AZ this time of year are not likely to board a bus, but if there are 25 interested people and there significant others that will fill the bus. I choose Gore as the destination because there is a cheap hotel in Lake George that will offer a decent meal plan. If Whiteface becomes the destination I think there is a nicer hotel in Plattsburg. I have worked for a guy that did these type of tours, but he did not ski and was in it for the wrong reason... So if you know someone that knows someone who might be interested, have them post here. We have some time to iron out the details:smile:
Thanx, Planx:spread::snow::beer:

It's a good idea, unfortunatley I'm out eastern MA or I'd be interested in hopping on board. Maybe we should have one for MA / RI'ers as well :)

Nick, I thought you lived closer to Boston? Would you be willing to meet along the way? If there is more intrest along the 91 route I could be convinced to reroute towards Sugarbush/Jay...
