PowderRidge

Whatever is decided would you think it would work to turn PowderRidge into a "all terrain" type of ski resort to get folks to go to it? Kind of what they did at Crotched??

I'm not sure what you mean by "all terrain". I think the best bet would be to cater towards beginners and families. That means a nice terrain/lift area for for noobs, a decent park for the kids and park rats, and a few cruisers thrown in for Mom and Dad to keep busy with while their kids are in the park. Establishing a good after-school program and ski school will be key.

"All Terrain"

I was going with the full on Park Rat type of resort, a couple of smaller mountains have been going this route at least to make themselves more marketable/profitable.

The idea is to be an all mountain terrain park, now I'm not sure if this would work for Powder Ridge, but just throwing the idea out there that right now the big money maker for resorts is to have a substantial terrain park.

Of course this then leads to having a substantial INSURANCE policy!

I bet they'll have substantial terrain features... But I think they'll still try to have something to offer for the beginners. It's never going to be anything more than a feeder hill..

Yep, it got approved. Something like 1100 to 150. It's not quite saved yet though, it just gives the town the authority to spend the money. There's still deals that need to be made...
