No sleep the night before, Elk was easier drive then Platty with no sleep.

Lots of natural snow my first time their I put it in trip thread, but nice blues and crusing runs and some nice short expert trails, bigger then I was expecting, a nice 1000 vertical. And easy drive to.

No sleep but drove to Plattekill first time their this year trip report later.

If conditions are good enough, the length of the drive is only limited by the acceptable ratio of driving time to snowboarding time. Mine is about 1 to 1. So I'll drive 6 hours round trip for 6 hours of riding.
