Me too. I wish more of the smaller ski areas did this, especially the ones that groom everything.
These bump runs are great when I am skiing with the wife. Mt. Sunapee has 2 like this.

Bell does a great job letting trails bump up, and when they thaw/freeze they topcoat them..100% agree with this. Many areas in the past basically didn't "allow" bumps. Now they seed them. Way better.
For those in the Catskills, a couple of trails at Belleayre had the makings for bump runs on Saturday. I wouldn't call them bump runs yet but soon.
Exactly...Good skiers...Short radius turns make good bump linesWhat am I missing...?
Aren't bumps created by skiers? Isn't creating bump lines part of the deal?
Good skiers creating good bumps?
I'm admittedly out of the loop - but - do people expect ski areas to create bumps fro them?

My own personal experience these days is that the equipment is different and having lines form even on perfect conditions is no longer a given. For instance, this past weekend, with only one way down, HBK should have bumped up nicely, at least on the edges. We really only had some lines going in the fence line by yesterday afternoon.

Unfortunately, shaped skis have turned almost everyone into giant slalom highway stars these days.
