Trip Report:
Well I figured I had to make my way back to Mohawk with the lifts spinning. Today was customer appreciation day so the lift tickets were FREE. Thanks Mohawk!! I pulled into a half full lot and was surprised to see how much snow they had left. I booted up in the parking lot and headed to the window to pick up my ticket. I first road the Boulder summit triple and headed down wildwood, I was surprised to see half of the trail was BUMPED up! Now I say half it was two to three bumps across at its widest, but they were still bumps. I attempted to ski them the first run but they were bulletproof, so I waited till later to ski them again. I skier the three open trails on skiers right of the mountain (Timber, Wildwood, Arrow Head) for about an hour before I had to take my ski's off and walk over to the Mohawk Chair. I only skied that side for a few runs, there was alot of traffic over there. Unfortunately there was no way to ski from one lift to another without taking my ski's off and walking a bit, but for free and this late in the season it was no problem. I finished my day off by lapping the bumps on wildwood, they had soften up enough so I wouldn't kill myself. The bumps were small and natural so the lines were a little wacky, but still fun to ski. Overall I had a blast it was a great way to get out of the house and put some millage under my belt.
