Awesome! That's litterally a few miles from where I work. Before we were married and bought our house, my wife and I lived in an apartment on West Main in Cheshire.

Thanks! What do they make in that factory?

That's a bit longer than the Besse Park NELSAP in Torrington. Very cool! I'm really digging this series this winter! :D

Nice. I am planning on hoping to kit some NELSAP areas next season. You are providing quite a nice list for me to hit.

Hey I just joined. I grew up in Cheshire and learned to Ski at Mixville and MT Southington. I enjoyed the video of Mixville skidmarks, brought back some fond memories, thank you for posting it. The tow at Mixville was working until about 1976. The hill is and has been a very popular sledding hill for as long as I can recall so its usually packed from sledding. I seem to remember the tow breaking down in 75 and there was some effort to fix it by the Cheshire fire dept. My father was a volunteer for many years so we used to have our annual picnics at Mixville. The last time I skied there was about 78 and we had to hoof it up the hill. Love the NELSAP site and look forward to moving back to CT. I now live in SC but am planning on moving back soon.

Thanks for the video again. :)
