We started a bit later today, but it didn't matter. It was busy for a Friday, but not crowded. The snow was good...packed powder. There was a little scratch in a few areas. It's surprising seeing/feeling the scratch...especially after another foot + in CT. It just hasn't hit SoVT.
We did a nice tour of the mountain and everything skied well. The seeded bumps over on Cooper's Junction were excellent. The bumps on Rollercoaster were a bit small, but will hopefully build up over the weekend. The groomers today skied very fast; they were awesome to rip down.
All in all, a great day. The mountain will be in good shape this weekend.
After skiing, we headed over to the BMW "dome" they had set up at the top of the tubing hill. Long story short, they have an X3 test drive event going on. We took an X3 35i out for a spin. Nice vehicle! You can also demo some K2 skis. Since we had finished skiing for the day, they said we could come back tomorrow. I'll have to give that a shot.
