Looks like it's cancelled..this sux

from the Mount snow website..
Updated 11/4/10 @ 4pm - Unfortunately with today's rain we will not be able to hold the charity rail jam this weekend on the Launch Pad. Features are currently setup and will be free for guests to hike as long as the snow lasts. Please keep checking back to the snow report for updates. Thank you!

It rained pretty much non-stop today in SoVT. Hard to keep a couple inched of snow around with that much rain. Frankly, I don't have much hope for an opening next weekend either.

And it looks like a bit of a warmup next week too. Let's hope this is the last of that. If we can get a good stretch of cool, dry weather, we can be skiing Thanksgiving weekend. I've got my Fingers crossed.

Yeah, too bad. I got excited too early.

I'm still gonna hold out a little hope for next weekend. We are coming both weekends regardless, got a random bevy of friends slated for both weekends. My fiancée's friends from UMass seem to prefer the drive to Mt. Snow from various points in Mass, just as we prefer the drive to VT as against the NJ-->Boston area drive.

My wife and I drove by the snow patch on Saturday after dropping her skis off to be mounted at Equipe. It was pretty cool....and they had a lot of rails set up. While we didn't get to ski, we had a great time hanging out with DrJeff and vcunning (and the kids!) at vcunnings condo. Since we didn't ski, we focused on beer consumption.

Yah, that park they set up on Launch Pad wasn't popular at all ;) ;)

Saturday about 2PM

Sunday when I left to head home to CT with the kids had a crowd that I'd say was somewhere between 2/3rds to 3/4ths of this

Are you talking about Launch Pad? or the empty mini-keg I put in the Dumpster. Thanks for the Video, the
Dinner and the Move-in truckster.

I still say that the reason why that mini keg of Newcastle disappeared so quickly likely had to do with the same small animal that shredded the chair in your storage shed! It must have nibbled a bit on the beertenders tap line this summer causing a leak that we just didn't see! That's my story, and i'm sure that Glenn will back me up! ;)

Yeah, I think I only had two mugs of New Castle. Something must have gotten to that before we did. No way we kicked that entire thing so quickly....
