NEWBURY, NH — Mount Sunapee opened its 57th ski season yesterday, Sunday, December 5th with top to bottom Skiing and riding. Favorable snowmaking Temperatures this past weekend enabled Sunapee's top ranked snowmaking team to pump out the snow and create some great early season, packed powder surfaces.

Mount Sunapee is the first and only resort open in central and southern New Hampshire, offering fourteen acres of terrain on the Upper and Lower Blastoff trails. Non-stop snowmaking has covered the trail with a 6-24" snowbase and now offers great early season skiing and riding for advanced and intermediate level skiers.

Snowmaking efforts will continue at every opportunity as temperatures permit. We look to be adding more terrain in the very near future through extensive snowmaking efforts and through the help of "Mother Nature." With over 230 acres of terrain, Mount Sunapee offers the most skiing and riding in central and southern New Hampshire.

For early season pricing, resort information and updates, check out our web site at www.mountsunapee.com or stay tuned to the Mount Sunapee snow phone at 603-763-4020.
