Yesterday East Snowfield, 2011 I was standing on a big rock in the top of start zone taking pictures, kinda gives me chills.

Any slope above 30 degrees can avalanche, as is the case for the upper snowfileds. Wet spring snow in particular can release at relatively low angles. Good thing is that wet snow avalanches are less likely to be released by a skier, compared to dry snow.
