Thought this might be of interest to those of you thinking of making the trip up to Mt. Washington this spring. As of Fri, the summit has received 11.6 inches of snowfall, far below the March average of 54.1 inches. Throw in the large amount of sunshine that he discusses, and I'm sure the snowpack around Tucks and GOS has been affected.

Gulf of Slides is slightly deeper than normal. Tucks is about normal. Oakes is a good amount deeper than normal. East snowfields are probably a tad below average. Westside is a good amount below average. Great Gulf is slight below average.

So...

South face = above average snowpack
East = normal
West and North = below average

Obviously there are some exceptions.

Also, if we don't get any snow everywhere will be way below normal by mid april. I'm comparing mid/late march to the average mid/late march not april.
