Awoke to snow. 6 inces in my drive and still snowing. Changed to rain at about 5 when I was shoveling. Drove over Mooretown Gap road, unplowed. It was sketchy. Stopped for a sausage egg and cheese croissant in Waitsfield, and a coffee becasue I had dumped my second cup. To the lot and skinning by 6.
8-10 inches of dry, slightly wind slabbed snow that had been moved arouns a bit. Windy up high. We skiied the top of chute and it was really nice. Even plopped off some small ledges. Then we hit Canyon with 6-8 inches of more dense snow that skiied really nice. One and done today, we were short on time so no action pics or footy. Still snowing at the base at 8.
