Fun afternoon in hero snow/big bumps (except a little grabby down low) at Mad River Glen this afternoon. Fall Line/Creamery were almost easy ... *almost*. This place never fails to humble me, e.g. Chute for the last run of the day, though I got my groove back on Upper/Lower Glades to wrap it up. Upper 2/3 of Lower Antelope were excellent for first run of the afternoon. I love pow but spring skiing rocks.

More later or tomorrow or ??? ... now sitting in on MRG coop trustees meeting. Sounds like they've had a good season, in part through financial austerity and also good timing for what storms we've had (Christmas/New Year's and latter part of President's Day week were strong).

My goodness, polski. This is the second time this season that we have skied the same mountain on the same day and not had the opportunity to share turns!

I only skied five runs due to still being sore from yesterday at Smuggs and the runs I did take at MRG taking their normal toll. I wish I had more leg in me today! But I knew I was shot when I had to regroup on the second drop of the Tower 10 cliffs instead of taking them two at the same time. Love that cliff in the spring time but I just didn't have it in me today.

We were there Friday and it was absolutely AMAZING! Skied with a group of hardcores and we bumped till we could bump no mo.
Hit Sugarbush on Saturday and gave it all I had left in me. Castlerock Run, Middle Earth were still in great shape but wont be around too much longer unless we get some cold and snow.
First trip to the MRV in years and it was sure good to be back.
A special thanks to KingM for hooking me up with the 2 for 1 passes at Sugarbush. Unfortunately they were only good for midweek so I returned them to the front desk yesterday on my way out so hopefully they will get a proper use.

Spring skiing does rock!
