Fantastic skiing today! I'm not one to toot my own horn, but I think last night's grooming turned out pretty fantastic. But the natural trails were the ones that really had me smiling.

Only rough run of the day was Hammerhead, which is really scratchy/sketchy on the headwall. But the rest of it was great.

The bumps on Cliffs are great, and tons of snow has blown in and been caught by the bumps. They act like little snow fences.

Bravo was AWESOME. Exterminator was quite good, but not as good as Bravo. Lower Exterm was great... 3-6" of blower pow, barely tracked at all.

Black Diamond was fun. DEEP in some spots, a few bones peeking through, but mostly covered on skiers' left. Good stuff.

The bumps on skiers' left of Which Way are starting to ski in, and are nice. Skiers' right will be nice tomorrow after tonight's grooming.

Rim Run was nice, soft groomed. Lookin' Good hasn't been groomed in a couple days, but has some nice fluff on top of generally flat and soft surfaces.

I repaired the slick/barely edgable pitch (The Follies, coming down toward Cruiser/Which Way from Mid-Flats) last night, and it was much improved. I was pleased with that.

Here are a few pix from today's skiing adventures:

Wow - incredible pic's Bush. Nice.

I need to pick a few mid-week training days before the Jane trip. If you want to let me know what days you'll be out on the hill, I would be psyched to connect. Let me know.

How does every day sound?

Seriously, I'm basically available every day to ski. So let me know when you want to come up, and I can make it work.

Very nice and good news since I will be back this weekend. How are the Upper and Lower FIS runs looking? No surprise, re: Hammerhead. Seems to get skied out fast. Glad to see that Which Way got some TLC.

Haven't skied either of the FIS trails recently. If upper FIS is anything like Black Diamond, it's probably great. But it looked a little "shinier" in spots, so I'd take it easy on the first run until you know what you're getting into. Maybe I'll check it out tomorrow. There were some nice bump lines setting up on it before the rain.
