Date Hiked: 8/19

Trails(s) Hiked: Practice Slope to Great White Way to some foot trail

Total Distance: ~1 mi roundtrip at most

Difficulty: Easy

Conditions: Dry trail, cloudy

Special Required Equipment: None

I expected this to be a brief hike, but man this was really brief, about 10 minutes of ascent including stopping to take photos of some of the old ski stuff. It's more vertical from the state park entrance, however it doesn't seem worth the $2 entrance fee. Nonetheless, a nice view even with limited visibility - probably really nice on a clear day.

Ya its just about smack dab between Brattleboro and Bennington, on Route 9. I hiked up the old Hogback ski area to the firetower (which I think is maintained by the state park now, as its not an active firetower anymore).
