I'm running out the door, I'll get you more later in the week.
Two ways to get there:

1.) Bushwahck from South Crocker
2.) USing logging roads & a herdpath from CVR. That's how I did it last year. Mohammed E. from VFTT has his own website which has detailed directions on this way, easy to follow. hardest thing is getting up Caribou Valley Road. It's a pretty easy walk though, even if you have to stop at the steel bridge.

Try searching at VFTT for Redington (That's hwat I'd do later & post here for you)

First and foremost, it's easy. If you take the route from Caribou Valley Road you're walking logging roads all the way to near the height-of-land, then a very well-worn, well-marked trail up to the summit.

The other option is a real bushwhack from the summit of S. Crocker. The start of the bushwhack trail is visible up there, and you know you're on the right route if you soon cross a narrow clearcut (looks like a trail but isn't) that is a land boundary. The trail will continue followable for a while, but then peter out. Your target is a big clearing filled with slash, which when you cross has on its other side a logging road going up. This is the same road as the CVR approach, just from the other side, and you can find a trail that heads up from it to meet the "main" summit trail. Bob and Geri have info on this bushwhack on their website.

Combine the two into a loop - S. Crocker first, then Redington, then the road walk back to your car. Or do all threee in a day as I did with Bob & Geri. I also have my own pics.

There are three catches to this area:
I strongly recommend AWD or 4WD to drive up Caribou Valley Road, as well as high ground clearance. A Subaru Outback will work (though in spring mud season even a Jeep will have trouble). Park just past the A.T. crossing (not marked; you have to look into the woods to see the blazes), at a little wide spot that holds 4 or 5 cars. There are some scary bridges to cross; just aim carefully and be careful not to bottom out.
You need Mohammed Ellozy's directions to follow the logging roads.
There are a lot of paths on the summit, as well as a weather-gathering tower (part of a wind farm proposal). Keep an eye on how you got there, so you know where to go to get down.
