Friday the 13th was anything but unlucky for the reefer crew. DoubleEject, jrskibum, and I pulled into the Mt. Snow lot about 9:30 after a 2+ hour ride in sleet and rain showers. Booting up - it turns to snow. Puked at times throughout the day. Mt Snow cloud was in effect. Free refills. Ropes were dropping! Runs of the day were Challenger and Fallen Timbers but we were finding stashes everywhere. The whole mountain is close to going 100%! Couldn’t believe the 4-5 inches in the parking lot that fell during the day! There was a very fine breakable crust early in the day, but nothing that slowed us down. Bluebird wasn’t running in the morning but it really didn’t affect us. Place was dead. Ride up to Magic after skiing was interesting. See Magic report for more.

not a lot of people here.......

didn't really need this sign on Challanger............

Better than expected!

After driving up in the rain all morning, the day turned out way better than expected! The rain turned to sleet, then to snow as we booted up. So we had warmer temps with free refills all day long.

They opened up Challenger which was as good as it ever gets, and provided some variety for us North Face addicts. The main face actually skied better than the NF as nobody was on it for 2 days due to lift closure, so we did a few runs over there too. The snow never stopped and the sun even peaked through the clouds on occasion.:snow:

Great call for a skiday Reefer!

Good deal guys! Things should be great going forward with the natural snowmaking temps.
