Mt Snow PM Session

We arrived at Mt Snow at noon on Friday. Around 30 degrees and pretty busy. Lot’s of PSIA clinics. First I did a couple of top to bottom runs with the boys on my favorite Ledges, Pat’s Pitch to Yard Sale. One thing I love and hate about MT Snow is how long it takes to ski the 1600 vertical. It takes twice as long as Hunter. It’s also twice as flat.

Next we headed over to Bear Trap to train for the USSA bump comp. The course was meager, but the rest of Bear Trap was great. Great packed powder everywhere. Hit some trees on the face and then 4 runs on the North Face. Came around the turn into Jaws expecting great bumps, but it was groomed. Not bad skiing I might add. Next 3 were on Chute which had excellent moguls.

Snow has a great base and they should have a good rest of the season.

I heard that Friday and Saturday were good days up there. Glad you got out.
