Met up with 2knees today for some Mt. Snow action. Groomers were nice PP cord...Started out at the North Face woods on the side of olympic...Lotsa snow in there but all the good stuff was tracked out. Went out of bounds a bit and found some chowdah to hit..Did a run down Free Fall which was pretty good then Jaws..I ducked into the woods halfway down jaws and found some deep stuff, but it was tough to turn with all the scrub brush..Off to beartrap which was the best hit of the day..Sunny and warm...ZZ Top jamming,,,,Bumps were all POW spacey at the top..but they tightened up after a while. All in all it was a smashing success!!

Looks like a good call. Love that bump line around :50 and 1:10. Ripping it up!

Nice wood shots too.

I was at Snow today with my son as well. I'm more of a mountain biker who skis, so I'm not nearly the skier most of you guys are.

We had an absolute blast today. Conditions were pretty darn good, I was so glad we waited and didn't go before this most recent storm. Yeah the woods on the North Face were tracked out, despite that we had a blast in there. I will admit there were a few moments of fear for me when I thought we had gotten separated (he's 19 so really not a big deal but...).

Anyway, for this hack it doesn't get much better than today. Some day I'll hit a powder day, but the small pockets of untracked we found today were good enough! The entire mountain skied pretty well, some nearly bare spots here and there, but easily avoided.

There were more people there than I expected, but we never waited for more than a few minutes for a chair, oh and we got the second to the last chair, which was cool.

And for anyone who was concerned my call went fine :-D

Wish I would have known you boys were in town! Nice vids! Was a fine day at the hill. Spent most of our time on the North Face - and some woods and Ledge on the Main Face.

I am thinking the first one looks awesome! Is that the ego alley woods?

Looks a heck of alot more like the tree area formerly know as Fantastics (between Ridge ans Uncles) to me, than the area formerly known as Sap Tapper (the trees between Ego Alley and South Bowl)

Correct....right on Doc!
I must say that snow has no density at all. We were still bottoming out and you had to take it a little easy. Couldn't rersist a few runs and nicks in the old boards however.........................Rest of the hill was in great shape!
A heavy wet snow Tuesday to compress this and a dump Friday will make the rest of the winter awesome in the Mt Snow woods!

no kidding it was light and no base underneath. I hit a ton of shit in all the woods we tried. fun, but like you said, it needs to setup and dump on top of it.

Out of all the years skiing there I never ventured into Fantastics more than once, lol. There just never was a good enough base to get away from the Snow Snakes, and there are a lot in there!

The Trials are def. one of my favorite tree areas around. Although much mellower, the areas off One More Time are awesome too. Were they called "the Boonies?"

Yes, that is what they were called (we still call it that). There is plenty of room to have fun - easy to loosen up and just let loose. Those are my favorite along with the Trials (which take more concentration and focus on my part).
