just a quick note. daughter of Angus went to her first "big mountain" Saturday, the conditions were great. Lower Williamson which has been rarely open the last couple of years when I've been there was open - go figure. lots of the glades (except those facing south) were open with what appeared to be good cover. it was great to ski with my daughter and see her ski alot of vertical - she did a great job. The place was much more crowded than I expected -it was nice to see people still interested in skiing. mgmt should be commended for staying open this week - looking at the snow reports, they are getting snow. ski ticket for an adult was $44.

I was there on Saturday too - one of the better days I had all season. Moguls were soft and despite the ski traffic, more often than not I had a slope all to myself - an invitation to really open up and rip at top speed - which I did. Fun, fun, fun. The snow was too heavy for my taste for skiing glades but I wasn't complaining.
