Mt. Washington EduTrips

Has anybody ever taken part in one of these? http://www.mountwashington.org/education/edutrips/

It looks really fun, but I was looking over their "required equipment list"... I thought I had a pretty good stack of "winter gear", but I'm missing the "winter hiking boots", "crampons" and "down jacket". Not sure if that stuff is rent-able?

It seems like it would be really "fun" to be up there in one of their epic winter storms. :grin:

Boots and crampons you can rent at EMS or IME in North Conway. They may rent expedition down jackets as well. You'll want good stuff, it's worth renting good gear for the trip.
