Can anyone tell me what time they open tomorrow for season passholders? I thought it was 8:00, but don't see anything mentioned on their site. Thanx.

Thanks for the quick reply. That's what I thought, but didn't want to get up an hour early and have to wait.

I was there today from 8 til noon and the mountain was in pretty good shape, although it was a bit messy getting there with the snow falling. A bit icy in spots but pretty empty on Granite even when I left. It was getting very crowded in the lodge and rental area.

My 13 yo daughter joined her ski club this year as a 1st time skier. SHe had boot problems on her first trip that caused her to call it quits after her lesson. She had an old pair of my wife's boots that she thought fit. I took her back to the rental shop where she got her season ski rental and got another pair of boots. I was not thrilled with the shop guy who did nothing to help her fit the boot. Well sure enough the boots are causing problems on the first run and she bailed on me. I don't know that she'll ever want to be a skier now which is disappointing. I was looking forward to setting up a family ski trip to Vt this year, but that is unlikely now:cry:

you should have never done the rental at th creek doing at the shp down the street. they kids there are underpaid and undereducated in what they are doing. sorry about that but try taking her somewhere else. go to customer service and get a refund.

I actually rented from pelican. The kid just handed her boots and didn't say a word-literally. Thanks for the tip.

pelican sucks. the place right by south is good or summit ski in summit is good. i dont know where you live. but let us know and im sure there are enough people on here that can set you straight.

i would combine going to get her fitted again with something she likes and then when you taker her again combine it with some snow tubing. i would do the tubing ater skiing so she leaves with a feelling of doing something fun at the mountain.
