Hi everybody I need some assistance identifying some info on a pair of skis I picked up at a ski swap for my wife. I can not seem to find any information on the ski online. *I was hoping someone could provide me with information on the ski and point me to another source that would have the information (i.e. year, model, ski ability, reviews etc.)

The ski information I have is as follows:

Rossignol Passion I Ski* /* 146 CM with bindings. *The ski is a light blue ski with a white floralish pattern may be white pin wheels. *I can send a picture if this is not enough information. *There was also the following barcode on the bottom:* 3109880163663

Thank you for any assistance you can provide. *I want to make sure I purchased the right product for my wife.

A quick google search finds this for the 09' version:

Novice to intermediate women skiers seeking a stable, easy-turning ski. Designed for groomed surfaces at low to medium speeds. Built with Rossignol's women's F.I.T. technology. 100% Frontside.

At this point we should find out where she likes to ski and what her skills are. Do we want a ski for Okemo groomers or Jay Peaks glades etc.

I'd say Okemo groomers, but she has skied ungroomed trails and Utah powder moguls and enjoys that as well.

If she's happy with Rossi

IMO if she's happy with Rossignol the Temptation 78 would be a nice pick. It's a brand new design for Rossignol. Very easy to ski on due to the slight early rise rocker in the tip of the ski with plenty of turn shape. At 78 under foot the ski should be great in all conditions but biased towards the groomers. Someone could really learn to carve on this ski if that's what they aspire to do. Ask for an AZ discount
