new trail at Blue??? (nightmare)

Anybody know anything about a new trail at Blue.

Google is picking up links that mention a new expert trail named "nightmare" for the "upcoming" season.

It's the top part of Dreamweaver..it was supposed to be open last season but they still had to install snowmaking and lights..the entrance is to the skiers left of Paradise or right of Razors edge..when it opens you'll be hitting the top of Dreamweaver at hyperspeed..lets hope it's completed for this ski season..

It will be pretty cool carving that left turn at high speeds then getting dumped onto dreamweaver.

i was hoping to see snowmaking/lighting going in last month from the lift while mtb'g there - nuthin doing. someone pointed out a potential blue-snafu last year, the last challenge lift pylon and adjacent grade chokes down the trail right at the top hard switchback - might pose an issue getting groomers up... according to this random person they were evaluating re-designing the trail or moving the pylon. piss poor planning like this would be unfathomable if its true , but we are talking blue...

I'm just happy we have Dreamweaver which took about 4 years to build..but it's one sweet ride..and everybody has the Dreamweaver song in their head..

I would think moving the pylon would be $-prohibitive. I would think it would be cheaper/easier to regrade and go down the headwall intead of traversing it.

x2 but looking at it, i'm not sure thats feasible either - its stankin steep and has a little stream coming out of the cut thats there. to me it looks wide enough or close to it, tried to visualize with 5' base. I was wondering if they couldn't do a retaining wall around the pylon footing
