JAY, Vermont — Jay Peak is seeking the next extreme generation of skiers and snowboarders. Next X is the first all-mountain, all equipment, all person snowsports competition. It's not just a competition - style, attitude, and personality are also factors. There is only one class, everyone competes together. Boys and girls, skiers, snowboarders and adaptive athletes are included. All contestants must be 9 through 13 years of age (born 1991-96) to compete. The winner of this event will go to Keystone, Colorado for the nationally televised finals, which are held February 11-13, 2005.
