Well, at least you're not some fairy pajama-wearing ninja type.

No offense to whoever chose ninja (snicker)

This we can agree on. Bunch of stick-carrying sallies. Get a real weapon like a sword or a pistol. I bet the pansy that couldn't ski with a broken arm picked ninja.

Silly one-armed ninja pansies. Pirates make do with one arm and one leg, and can even handle the dry cleaning bills fromteh stupid parrot.

It's also a proven fact that the decline in Pirates has caused global warming. What do Ninjas do? Deliver burgers? That's not a real man's job.

Don't hate on us ninjas. When comparing Eastern and Western philosophy, I would describe myself as a ninja anyday. As a skier, I would take the balance and speed of a ninja over the rum-soaked stagger of a pirate anyday. ;-)

Truthfully, I was expecting bourbon soaked, but I suppose one cannot discriminate when spirits are involved.

Believe me, I wanted to change it, but to stay in the Pirate theme, I stuck with rum.
Other candidates that were considered (in approximate order of preference): beer, gin, vodka, turpentine, witch hazel, tequila

You forgot antifreeze... I think it's somewhere between witch hazel and tequila. Also Corona at the tailing end of tequila.

We should make the "Libation of Choice" thread.

Jack, good tequila, vodka, rum, and wine coolers........ just kidding.

A thread of this caliber leaves no room for rational thought.

On that note, it's been a while since I raped and pillaged. Does that feeling get anyone else down besides me?
