North Peak Express Quad

I skiied Sunday River in the morning conditions were excellent, but hard to see. I left early so I could get a couple runs off Loons North Peak Express Quad. Wow is that great. Very Fast and smooth. Looks like they used the same footings as old chair and put up new cable and new towers. It was very foggy and hard to see, but this lift should make a big difference this year. Sunday I skiied it again and could see that the lower half of Flume is a little wider.

Although I haven't skied Loon in a decade, I do remember one slope off the summit as being exceptionally steep for N.H. There's a trecherous situation, skiing steeps in a fog.

The steep trail off to the right of the gondola is Angel Street.
Walking Boss and Flume have a good pitch off the new Quad. (North Peak)
