Down at the new house today, working on the bathroom. Took a break around noon to go for my first ski on the lost ski area located about 100 yards up the road. Walked to the end of the road and put my skis on. Found the skin track to be located about 100 feet in. Climbed for about 40 minutes. Investigated the northern most aspect and found it to be well maintained maple glades for about 800 vertical with a really nice foot plus of pow layed in. It hasn't snowed in a few days so I wasn't suprised to find it had been skiied.......by 1 person. Pretty stoked. On a good day I should be able to put my skis on on the front porch.

I remember driving by there when they still had the chairlift to the summit, it looked fairly steep near the summit.

There is good pitch for several hundred vert.
