Wow..a forecasted low of 16 degrees on October 15th with a possibility of snow for Saranac Lake NY is some fantastic stuff...October turns here we come....

yea...that's just flat out not happening.
The GFS model is notorious for being too cold and too wet in the second forecasted week.

Grilledsteeze..., did you check the fifteen day for Palmerton PA? Looks like we may have a low that actually gets below freezing on the 15th, I think we better get on the horn and tell the "PASR"ers to get on the phone and tell our resorts to fire up those guns.

Yeah right Booter(Blue) mountain won't fire up the guns until the week before Thanksgiving even if it's below zero...but I'm down for some frost skiing off the Appalachian trail..I know of some nice grassy knolls..yeah boy-eee....
