October!

Everybody gets mad at me for being glad that it is finally October. Sometimes you just have to "swim upstream" when it comes to "public opinion." :)

If it was 1992, 1993 or 1997. We would be making turns and riding the old k double today.

I'm stoked... October means I have to shift into high gear to finish some house stuff before Winter sets in... But once winter arrives - I just relax and ride...

A powerful cold front is forecasted to push into New England on wednesday with the coldest air of the season thus far, a snowmaking test looks possible for late next week.

Forecast discussion for Killington:

LONG TERM /TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY/...
LOW PRESSURE APPROACHES FROM THE GREAT LAKES TOWARD 12Z WED WITH A
CHANCE OF SHOWERS. STRONG COLD FRONT LOOKS LIKE IT WILL PASS
THROUGH THE REGION WEDNESDAY OR WEDNESDAY NIGHT WITH LARGE COOL
CANADIAN HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM TO FOLLOW THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.
ANY AREAS THAT HAVENT SEEN A FROST WILL LIKELY SEE A KILLING FROST
OR FREEZE LATE THIS WEEK.

I got to step on some snow today!

(On the rockpile to do some radio work for my second (or is it my third?) job. 33 Degrees, rain, 50MPH winds. A perfect day to be on the roof of New England!
