I'm going to see it tomorrow. Not expecting it to be a great movie but the freebies make it well worth it.

I'm going to see it too. Last year's movie, Higher Ground, was pretty bad. IMO it was a big disappointment even compared to Impact the year before. I'm hoping this year's will be an improvement. If it's not, I'm done going to WM movies (especially since he doesn't even do them anymore). I also saw Snow Gods recently...that was pretty good I thought.

I'm going Saturday in Burlington (1800 hrs show, if anyone else happens to be going); I've actually enjoyed the last two (Impact and Higher Ground). They ain't perfect, but there was enough worth watching that I was glad I went.

I saw Off the Grid a couple weeks ago. Freebies are good and the movie is pretty decent. Good enough just being in an atmosphere with everyone stoked for the snow.

I won nothing, but got free midweek lift tickets to Killington, Sundown, and Snow.

The atmosphere with everyone stoked for snow is definitely cool. Overall I liked Impact, Journey, Storm, and Cold Fusion...really disliked Higher Ground though. Maybe it's just me, but I wish Higher Ground didn't use the WM name.

I'm guessing you saw it in Stamford. Me too. Is it a free ticket to all of those hills or do we have to choose one? I thought we had to choose but I hope you are right.

I thought the movie was good for some stoke. I really liked the stuff in India and with Doug Coombs. The park/aerial stuff wasn't overdone. Warren only narrated about 10% of the movie and even those lines were from old movies. The lack of Warren's voice took something away from the WM film experience. Of the WMs I've seen, Impact has been the best.

Yep, I was there :)

And yes, it's one coupon for each one of those, so 3 free lift tickets. The only thing it's that it's midweek (or night at Sundown) only. But still, can't beat a free day of skiing even if I have to take a day off of work.

Yeah, I also liked the segment on Doug Coombs, I knew they would do something for him.

Higher Ground was nothing more than a glorified Jeep advertisement with the occasional Warren Miller voice-over thrown in. We all walked out of the theater saying "WTF was THAT?!?!"

As you walked in and out of the Palace Theatre in Stamford, CT they had a line of lovely new Jeeps parked out front. It made me kick myself in the butt for selling my TJ. I'm angling for a 4 door Jeep in the next year or two.

I saw it last night. It had a short tribute to Doug Coombs which was nice but other than that it sucked. Warren MIllers narrations were few and far between and even though the clips were from the archives they are still better than Jeremy Blooms narration.
