Short of it, woods were fantastic.. The storm left light, crystal like powder(non-new england), and its stayed cold so has kept well. Get up north this weekend. Groomers were great, fast, and very carvable... but I only used them to get to more woods trails. We did every double-diamond/glade trail we could find, all completely covered. Fresh lines and deep technical turns all day long. There was a few (maybe 1 or 2) places with higher wind exposure, and the fluffy light pow got blown off... but still pretty much fantastic coverage with every trail open.
I was going to head to Cannon, shorter drive and 2-1 thurs tickets made it more appealing, did anyone go?
