If anyone is interested, they are selling chairs at Jiminy Peak. I got a double from an old Riblet Lift. Right now it is hanging from our swing set (school play ground type, very sturdy), my wife won’t let me bring it into the house.

It's cool enough now to sit outside on the chair in full gear, Sparky. Ya gotta dream.

I'd say the fact she let you buy it at all makes you a winner.

They are $50.00 and not in bad shape.

wow.. Thats not bad at all! Are they the old Centerpole design?

dave

Yup.

very nice! How many did they have left, and how did you find out about the sale? I'm asking because i'm not going to be down in the area for a while and i'm trying to see if I can get one of the chairs (if my new place has enough of a yard for it!)

Thanks!

dave

I know they have at least two ready for sale and a lot more back in a storage field. they had two of them sitting out front the other day.

I seem to be the only one interested right now. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I haven't gotten it properly hung yet, and if you not careful it will swing back and almost dump you out.

I dream about it all day long. The closer we get the worse I get.

I have to admit, my wife is very tolerant of my addiction. After 33 years I guess she isn't suprised by my stunts any more.

Well, Brian, when are you going up to get one? :D

I wish I had the time to run up there and pick one up! That and the space to put one... ;)

And her.

I'd like one if I had time to go get one. I build a stand for it and put it in the living room. Talk about a conversation piece.

I'd do that, too, except I'd need to get one from a six-pack, since I'd be sleeping on it, too. And not entirely by choice.

Aww c'mon. Where's your devotion?

It could be done with a quad. Just train that dog of yours to stand at one end of it all night for a foot rest.
